2017-2018

During the 2017/18 term, the Nine elaborated suggestions and recommendations on those topics:

• Procedures to define the CERN contribution to the ESPP Update: We have suggested a more inclusive participation of CERN’s Staff and Fellows in this process, which is of the utmost importance for CERN and our scientific community.
• Security at CERN: We have analysed the impact of the growing security measures on CERN’s functioning and on the culture of openness of our laboratory.
• Mobility: We have brought to the attention of our management the increasing and diversified mobility needs of the CERN population when commuting to, and moving within, the Laboratory.
• Personal Data Protection at CERN: We have analysed the impact of CERN’s initiatives on data privacy on the functioning of the Organization.
• Voluntary extension of retirement age: We have compared possible options in terms of advantages and drawbacks for the Organization.
